Frequently Asked Questions — Rafiq Traders
Quotation & Delivery
How do I get a PKR quotation?
Share part dimensions (L×W×H), daily throughput, item type (machine/gun, booth, oven or line), city and any drawings/photos. We reply with a same-day PKR quote, lead time and scope of supply.
How long does delivery take to Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad?
Ex-stock items dispatch quickly. Built-to-order booths/ovens depend on size and options. We’ll share the current schedule with your quotation.
What are the delivery options and who pays for freight?
Delivery is customer-arranged and customer-paid (Freight Collect), or we can arrange freight on your behalf and add it to the invoice at cost. Standard terms are EX-Works (Lahore) unless stated otherwise.
Do you provide unloading and placement?
Unloading, rigging and site handling are customer’s responsibility. On request, we can recommend third-party service providers.
Installation, Training & Warranty
Do you install and train operators?
Yes—installation and operator training are available nationwide. You’ll receive a utilities sheet (power/gas/air/ventilation) before delivery to prepare the site.
How do I request service or spare parts?
Send model/serial number and a short issue/video via the Contact page or WhatsApp. We’ll confirm part availability or schedule a visit.
What warranty is included?
Standard local warranty covers manufacturing defects as per product category. Wear parts/consumables (nozzles, filters, hoses) are excluded.
Technical (Guns/Booths/Ovens)
Manual vs digital powder coating gun—how do I choose?
Manual guns are versatile and cost-effective; digital guns add fine kV/µA control for Faraday areas, improving wrap-around and reducing powder waste.
How do you size a powder coating booth?
We match booth size to your largest part envelope and set target face velocity/CFM for efficient capture. Options include cartridge filters and cyclone recovery.
What compressor is needed for one gun?
Typically 10–15 CFM at 6–8 bar of clean, dry air. Use moisture/oil separation for consistent finish.
Batch vs tunnel oven—what’s right for me?
Batch ovens suit flexible jobs and quick changeovers; tunnel ovens pair with a conveyor for steady throughput. Gas often lowers running cost for large chambers; electric offers precise control for small–mid sizes.
Payments & Terms
What are your payment terms?
For made-to-order equipment we typically take an advance with milestone payments; ex-stock items are payable before dispatch. Exact terms appear on your quotation.
Can I cancel or change an order after confirmation?
Custom builds may be non-cancelable or subject to change fees depending on production status. We’ll confirm the policy in your order acknowledgment.
Are taxes, duties and permits included?
Unless stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of taxes/duties/permits. These are payable by the customer as applicable.
